The 3DS isn't Nintendo's first foray into 3-D gaming. In 1995, it launched the Virtual Boy, which required bulky headgear and displayed all wholesale electronics suppliers images in red. It bombed and Nintendo soon discontinued it. But it didn't give up on 3-D. starzmart
