Problem Opening Microsoft Office 2007

Problem details: After creating a document in MS Office 2007, people using Office 2003 can't seem to open the document. Microsoft office word 2007 file formats come in docks, pot, and lax, rather than doc, pot, and axles high are version incompatibilities between these formats. However, a document created in Office 2003 can be opened in the Office 2007 and 2003 without having a problem, even after being edited in both versions. Solution details: This incompatibility is caused because Microsoft changed the underlying technology around that the Office file formats are based. Although Office 2007 can read both the new along with the old file formats, Office 2003 is only able to read the older format. There's two ways around this problem and both of them are relatively simple. The first possible solution is to enable Office 2003 to learn the newer docks, pot, and lax file formats.
This is enabled with an update that's downloadable in the Microsoft Download Center; just try to find the Microsoft office home and student 2010 Compatibility Pack for 2007 File Formats download within the popular section or seek out those keywords. Observe that this update will enable Office 2003 to read 2007 file formats but won't be able to write to them. In case you modify the documents, you'll save them as a 2003 version doc, pot, or axles file. One other option is to remember save files as Microsoft office professional plus 2010 format files even if creating them in Office 2010. This requires another step to remember but doesn't require any extra software or add-ins. When saving a document, click the Office button, then Save, then Save As and under Save As Type, choose Office 97-2003 format. The document will be viewable in either Office 2003 or 2007.
The challenge with either one of such solutions is that the new underlying technologies of the 2007 file formats are necessary for some of the innovations in the Microsoft office professional 2007 system. For instance, Smart Art and the new 3D graphs in Excel aren't supported in file formats other the 2007 versions. Because of this you will lose a few of this new functionality from the 2007 version should you constrain yourself to while using the 2003 file formats using a single one of these techniques. Still, no less than everyone can read your files with any incompatibilities.
